Take
JasperSoft has designed its open source business intelligence (BI) products to support the on-demand customer relationship management (CRM) model of salesforce.com and SugarCRM. Earlier this year JasperSoft released Jasper4SalesForce, which integrates the company’s reporting capabilities with products of both salesforce.com and SugarCRM. Jasper4SalesForce, which operates on a multitenant model, has more in-depth and simpler reporting capabilities than salesforce.com offers. With report design and management, prebuilt reports for sales, secured storage and support, JasperSoft is a viable provider of BI within CRM environments. Ventana Research recommends that organizations using these CRM suites look at Jasper4SalesForce’s capabilities to see how they might improve customer visibility and company performance.About the Author Mark is responsible for the overall direction of Ventana Research, and drives the global performance management research agenda, which covers both business and technology areas.
