iWay Software, an Information Builders company and an innovator of enterprise integration solutions, today announced that it will sell more than 35 iWay adapters developed on and built for IBM WebSphere technology. This offering opens tremendous market opportunity for iWay Software and extends IBM's connectivity ecosystem offering customers additional cost-effective application integration options by delivering consistent adapter technology based on IBM's WebSphere Adapter Toolkit.
iWay Software's adapters accelerate business integration by providing a foundation for business agility with a low cost of entry and full project reusability. Simply assembled and configured off-the-shelf components allow for rapid data access and application integration without lengthy custom coding or expensive systems overhauls and allow for implementation of mission-critical applications without costly delays. iWay Software's integration adapters also open doors to a service-oriented architecture (SOA) and for Web-enabling applications.

In conjunction with this announcement, iWay Software has agreed to provide an adapter suite expressly for the IBM WebSphere 6.1 product line, including WebSphere ESB and WebSphere Process Server. The custom suite will be generally available in the first quarter of 2008.
